Productions is an independent video production company located in Edmond,
Oklahoma USA. The owners, Dan Bigbee (Comanche) and Lily Shangreaux
(Lakota) , have combined their various talents to artfully present
a wide range of subjects using the video medium.
Founded in 1993 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, BIG Productions moved to its present location. Since moving to Oklahoma in 1995, BIG Productions has worked with various clients to produce video for a myriad of purposes. From employee training tapes to product or organization promotion, the BIG Productions team uses their talents to present a wide range of subjects.
From script writing to field production to post production, BIG Productions strives to meet the exacting standards for broadcast quality video. BIG Productions’ digital edit bay is state of the art using broadcast grade equipment to assure the best quality image. Audio and graphics capabilities are also available.
BIG Productions has experience in producing television documentary as well as educational/industrial production. The company’s most recent documentary: “The Great American Foot Race” is a one-hour program that aired nationally on public television in 2002. “Foot Race” is about a young Cherokee, Andy Payne, who ran and won a foot race from Los Angeles to New York in 1928.
The company has also produced various television commercials and PSA's. The highlight of this work was the opportunity to direct Carol Burnett, who appeared in a PSA produced for the former New Mexico Repertory Theater.
